Last Updated: January 2018
We take all possible steps to combat and prevent slavery and human trafficking.
We are a global cloud enabler whose mission statement is to facilitate innovation through cloud adoption.
Cloudreach has over 400 employees worldwide, and we operate in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and India.
OUR POLICIES ON SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. We strive to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
THE CLOUDREACH STATED VALUES
Shortly after Cloudreach was founded, the Cloudreach founders stated Cloudreach’s core values:
- Respect the Individual and Individuality
- Be easy to work with
- Be one step ahead
- Promote personal growth
We require everyone that works with or for Cloudreach to respect these four values, which ensure that we respect all individuals and that we continuously comply with new laws (including the Modern Slavery Act). Prospective staff members are assessed during the interview process against these four values, and existing staff members are graded against these four values during their annual performance reviews.
SUPPLIER ADHERENCE TO OUR VALUES AND ETHICS
We take a zero tolerance approach towards slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values, we enter into appropriate partner agreements with all our suppliers and partners. As part of this, we require all our suppliers and partners to to comply with all applicable laws (including the Modern Slavery Act).
Our suppliers and partners are predominantly based in the USA and Europe and include the likes of Amazon, Google LLC and Microsoft Corporation, all of which have stated Codes of Conduct and Ethics.
DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES FOR SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we have in place systems to:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
- Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Protect whistle blowers.
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. In addition to requiring our business partners to comply with the Modern Slavery Act, we also provide training on modern slavery and human trafficking to our staff. We are committed to ensuring that our supply chains and our business maintain a strong understanding of this topic.
OUR EFFECTIVENESS IN COMBATING SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
We use the following key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective we have been in ensuring that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains:
- We provide adequate training for all our staff
- We require our suppliers and partners to be bound by obligations to comply with all applicable laws
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Cloudreach’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 July 2018.
