Forced labour and human trafficking are still globally active issues in today’s society and can appear in any sector, industry or category of business. Cloudreach Europe Limited and Cloudreach Holdings Limited, together with their group companies (collectively “Cloudreach”) take all possible steps to combat and prevent slavery and human trafficking within any line of the company.
Cloudreach: Who We Are
Cloudreach acts as a global cloud enabler whose mission statement is to facilitate innovation through cloud adoption. With over 700 employees across 8 countries (USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and India), we have empowered some of the largest and best known enterprises in the world to realise the benefits of cloud.
Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
Cloudreach strives to act ethically and with integrity in all business relationships, and is committed to ensuring that no modern slavery or human trafficking is occurring in our supply chains anywhere in the business. We are committed to respecting and protecting the human rights of all those who come into contact with our company, including employees and any associated suppliers, and hold both a corporate and a social responsibility to act virtuously throughout each tier of our business functions. This ethos is underpinned by our core values and driven by our Leadership team.
Cloudreach Core Values
Shortly after the company was founded, the founders envisioned Cloudreach’s core values to be:
- Respect the individual and individuality
- Be easy to work with
- Be one step ahead
- Promote personal growth
It is a priority of ours to make sure that all Cloudreach employees and Cloudreach representatives adhere to these values, which makes it easier for us to ensure that we are continuously complying with new and existing laws (including the Modern Slavery Act). Prospective staff members are assessed during the interview process against these four values, and existing staff members are graded against these four values during their annual performance reviews.
Risk Assessment for Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we have in place systems to:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
- Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Protect whistleblowers.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Cloudreach’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 July 2019.
