The Challenge
T-Mobile Netherlands (TMNL) sought to establish a public cloud footprint within a tight timeline. It needed a partner to help implement quickly, operate under industry guidelines and best practices, and provide learnings to help the company understand each step of its cloud adoption process.

The Solution
Cloudreach worked alongside T-Systems International (TSI), providing an experienced team to lead and implement the project. As this was the first project delivered under Cloudreach’s and TSI’s newly formed partnership, it set the standard for a governance model and operational integration points for future projects.
We designed and implemented AWS Landing Zone using AWS CloudFormation, enabling the company to automate the set up of new AWS workloads that can scale to support production implementations for large-scale migrations.
Cloudreach also built and migrated several shared services in AWS, successfully migrated four of TMNL’s business critical applications, and is providing ongoing operational support and infrastructure management.
The Outcome
Cloudreach successfully migrated six shared services and four applications from TMNL’s Data Center in The Hague to AWS within the prescribed timeline. All applications and shared services were onboarded to Cloudreach’s 24×7 Reliability Services.
Through our Cost Reliability service, we provide custom reports and insights on TMNL’s AWS spend, enabling the company to continually identify cost optimization opportunities.
